Travel and flyfishing in the Russian Far East
Samarga River
Lower Samarga in late fall
One of the most interesting routes brings you to the Samarga River, which flows through rich mixed forest of Primorie. The rivers is swift and powerful, with clear greenish water and pebble bottom. In the upper and middle part of the river there are dangerous places - narrow channels with log jams. In its lower part there are no obstacles; the river flows mostly with one channel.
