Tambovka River
Tambovka River is flowing into the
Aniva Bay from the Krilion Peninsula (south-western corner
of the Sakhalin Island). The river is situated 30 km south from the Taranai
village. Here the fishermen catch
cherry, pink and chum salmon, white-spotted charr, Dolly Varden charr; there are
chances to catch coho salmon and rare Sakhalin taimen, which should be
immediately released. Transportation from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk by car, tent-camp.
